Happy and grateful to see Nehemias enjoy and learn a new sport, basketball, in the company of his friend Leonardo. Liliana (Leonardo's mom) and I are happy to see them play, grow and listen to their ideas. We have been able to share lots of good times during practice and in our homes after practice. It was also nice that Nehemias met more friends and we also met more parents and on Fridays they had the parents and children participate together. It was fun!
Chicken rice! typical of my country Ecuador! It is my favorite way of preparing rice. It has shredded chicken, peas, carrots, onions and peppers. I prepared this delicious rice for Verónica and her family since this family has gone through and are going through a very difficult and sad situation with the accident that their 6-year-old son Angelito had! We ask for your prayers constantly for this family, the Mayari family.
I know that one dinner is not going to fix everything they are going through and suffering, the pain, and all the disappointment. I really can't imagine, but thank God they are happy to see their little son alive and we have been trying to help them and encourage them as we can. I enjoy cooking and sharing time with people.
I also had some time with Don Julio and Martha. It gives me great joy to be busy and share the blessings of our good Father! I like to encourage people to continue seeking God.
