One Sunday this month I used my son Caleb to give the introduction to the sermon. He said a verse he had memorized. God does great miracles with the little we have. Jesus did a great miracle when He fed thousands of people with five loaves and two fish that a child gave.
It is very nice to see the children of the missionary team growing with a spirit of worship to God. When Caleb walked in front of the congregation he immediately began to pray naturally. He always likes to pray, his life is a great blessing and we give glory to God.
It is also nice to see that there are more people attending church for the Sunday services. Many are guests of a family that has been attending during the last few months. We hope they continue to come! There are also people attending with whom we are spending time with or studying the Bible with during the week either at a home or on the street. Some are neighbors who we spend time with in some way.
Because it is a church that is being formed, the sermons are evangelistic to teach them to love God and to follow Jesus Christ the Savior. Sometimes we also do series on a particular topic. I like to give evangelistic sermons, which talk about Jesus Christ who gives hope.
"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, because the kingdom of God belongs to those who are like them." Mark 10: 14
