Looking Back on January- Visitors from Sucre

Writer's picture: Juan CabreraJuan Cabrera

In January we had visitors from the church in Sucre. The Soliz family and the Blanco Tumiri family come during different times that month. Brother Angelo gave us the sermon on Sunday. He and his wife, Anael, currently serve the Church in Sucre.

The schools in Bolivia have summer vacation from December to January and the children enjoy this time. This was why people from Sucre could come and we enjoyed having them here.

It was very good to have visitors, to host them at our home, to spend time with them and to visit places in Tarija with them. When someone from the family in Christ visits us in Tarija they encourage us a lot, because then we do not feel so alone in this remote part of the country.

Since January I have been giving sermons on the 1st letter of Peter, about the hope that Christians have.

Blessings.
