Margot had gallbladder surgery. Thank you for your prayers. Thank God she is well now. She is grateful for the visits we have made to the hospital and to her home. We have brought her groceries, which the members of the church donate into a basket that we give to someone every month. It has been nice to share with her and her family the blessings that God gives us every day. We have been able to pray and talk about how good God is and the
prayers for her recovery.
Nelvia, Emely and Veronica had their birthdays in September! Here we are sharing a delicious carrot cake that I prepared. Twice a week we have tea and a study at Veronica's house. I am very happy for them. It encourages me a lot to see how strong this family is and I am grateful to see Angelito (Veronica's son who lost his arm) recover quickly! May God show Himself greatly in them, and may they come to the feet of Jesus. Pray for them, that their hearts move to obedience of our Savior, and that they walk with God!
This is Maria! She has the same name as me!!! For more than a year, Maria spends Thursdays and Fridays at "El Camino” (our contact center) begging for alms or help. Whenever she passes by, she comes over to ask me for help. I invite her to come in and sit down and have some tea or coffee, but she never likes to go in. So I give her some help and she leaves. Sometimes she talks and other times she doesn’t. She just stops by for her alms and leaves. I’ve been praying for her, and thank God, these last few weeks she’s been coming into "El Camino". She’ll have something to drink and eat, and she’s talking more. We’re getting to know each other better. She told me that she doesn’t have children and that she lives with a niece. Please pray for her so that when I talk to her more about God, she doesn’t stop coming and so that she can get to know and see God. There are weeks that she doesn’t come and sometimes I’m not there, but I’m happy that we’re getting to know each other better. I want her to know more about God and the love that he has for us.
Thank you for your support and for being aware of the work in Tarija. May God continue to use the entire team and our families in a great way. for his glory!
